Bangkok, August 9, 2024 – Primobius has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Neo Mobility Asia, a joint venture between Arun Plus Group and MGC-ASIA for comprehensive electric vehicle distribution and services, to study the feasibility of recycling electric vehicle batteries in Thailand.

Dr. Michel Siemon, CEO of Primobius, stated, "The main purpose of battery recycling is to reuse raw materials from degraded batteries through modern, environmentally friendly processes, reducing the carbon footprint from sourcing new resources through coal mining. We recognize Neo Mobility Asia's potential to provide comprehensive services, and Thailand's proven potential, demonstrated by the rapidly growing popularity of electric vehicles alongside extensive charging infrastructure."

This MOU between Neo Mobility Asia and Primobius marks a step towards studying the feasibility of battery recycling business in Thailand, aiming to gather information for future business directions. It also represents a move towards a low-carbon society, reducing the need for new raw materials and pollution, for a cleaner and more sustainable future for all.
